Public File

Radio stations licensed to broadcast in the United Kingdom are required to maintain a Public File.

Digital Sound Programme Services have specific obligations relating to their programming, including the provision of music, speech, and locally relevant content. These obligations are defined within the station’s Format, which forms part of the station’s public file.

A hard copy of the public file is available by post upon request from any member of the public. The public file provides information about the station’s operations and programming output.

Comments regarding the contents of the public file may be directed to the station or to the broadcasting regulator, Ofcom.


Our Service

Hereward Gold is currently an online-only radio station serving the Peterborough area. The station began streaming in March 2026 and continues to built a strong reputation for providing popular music programming, community news and features.

Over the coming weeks and months, the station aims to launch on DAB Digital Radio across Peterborough, on smartphones (via mobile applications), on smart speakers, and other connected devices.

News Bulletin Schedule

Hereward Gold broadcasts a national news bulletin hourly between 0700 & 1900 on weekdays and between 0700 & 1300 on weekends. We also broadcast news headline updates at 0730, 0830, and 0930 & 1630, 1730, and 1830 on weekdays.

All bulletins are provided by Radio News Hub, including all additional bulletins such as Business, Entertainment, Sport and Weather.
